The Maersk Oil operated Ebba-1X exploration well in Danish North Sea Licence 8/06 Luke was spudded on 17 December 2007 and has been drilled to a total depth of 9765 feet Measured Depth. The well will now be plugged and abandoned.

Comment:
“The Ebba-1X exploration well applied the most modern seismic data and methods but unfortunately did not encounter oil or gas. Exploration in Denmark has a relatively low chance of success but we plan another Danish exploration well later in 2008, this time in the Gita area.”
