Maersk Oil and Kerr-McGee has received clearance from the EU commission and a letter of no objection from the DTI regarding Maersk Oil’s acquisition of the majority of Kerr-McGee’s UK oil and gas interests. The remaining approvals are expected to be received in the near future.
