German exploration activities
Maersk Oil is involved in exploration activities in the German sector of the North Sea in Licence B 20 008/19. The license covers an area of 400 sq. kms in the German Central Graben and borders the Danish North Sea sector. Five wells have been drilled. Maersk Oil holds a 73.3% interest and is the operator and Chevron holds the remaining 26.7% interest.
