Maersk Oil have with regret noted the announcement that SLP has called in administrators. SLP has had financial problems for a long time and Maersk Oil have exercised significant efforts to assist SLP during the period of its contract with SLP. In Maersk Oil's view SLP’s financial trouble is a result of SLP’s own business decisions and the way SLP has conducted its business over the past years.
